What to Expect in 2022, According to Numerology

If you've kept up with me over the years, then you'll know that I place a lot of value on numerology. I wouldn't call myself a numerologist, or an expert in numerology, but I refer to it often in my life. It's very prevalent in reading the tarot, and for me, is a big way signs (or messages) from ~beyond~ are communicated to me. So let's dig in. What is numerology? Essentially, it's the symbolism of numbers, and assigning meaning to numbers. One through 10 each have their own symbolic value, and beyond that (aside from angel numbers, which we will get into) you find the sum of a number in order to find its value. For example, if you see 43 all the time, the number that is actually communicating with you is 7, because 4+3 is 7. That means, 2022 is actually a 6 (though, to me, it is also the angel number 222). It's interesting how much I love this shit, considering how I loathed math in school, but really numerology is quite simple. If it turns out to be something you feel interested in, I highly recommend looking up your "life path number," to gain more insight (I'm a seven, which makes A LOT of sense).

If you're not already on board let me tell you something I think might convince you: 2020=4, meaning two years ago, we collectively experienced a "four year." Fours symbolize a "pause" button. They are a sign to slow down, or stop completely. If you don't listen to the sign to slow down, things will slow down for you against your will. Fours symbolize reflection, taking your time moving forward, and again, just pausing and resting until you really know how to move forward in the best way. Fours have always meant this, no one made that up to match with the fact that we did ALL indeed slow down and pause in 2020, whether we wanted to or not. Then there's 2021; a five year. Fives represent change, and conflict. They are movement forward from the pause of the four, but with a big change. They are transformative. That can feel really good, or really bad, but mostly, just really big. Now, I can't speak for everyone, but collectively, many of us had big transition in 2021. Babies, new career paths, marriages, divorces, moves, starting businesses, breaking addictions, starting habits, etc. The list goes on and on. And now, we move into the six: 2022, which will bring more harmony, empathy, love, and forward momentum for the collective. In the tarot deck, the 6th card is "the lovers," so this number really does represent an opening of the heart space, and being in sync with your authentic emotions, whatever those may be.

I predict that 2022 will be a year of emotional healing. We will be collectively cracked open at the heart chakra and begin to have more empathy for our fellow humans (and planet) than we have in the past years. We will see people continue to step into their divine power, and gifts. Many people will fall deeply into the healthiest love they've ever experienced, many people will start or grow heart-centered businesses, and many people will ride the emotional self healing roller-coaster. Sixes aren't all love and harmony though, they can also represent self-sacrificing for others, symbolize passiveness, or even be too idealistic. Like any other year on planet Earth, there will be grief and pain to overcome, but with more people leaning into their hearts, and embracing genuine empathy, we will be moving forward from the conflict and change that was so present in former years.

If you choose to look at 2022 as the angel number 222, instead of a six, you will still get a similar idea. The number 222 represents new beginnings, and moving forward. It's a reminder of the power that our mind (and manifestation) has in creating our physical reality. This number, if you see it often, is a sign to focus on your thoughts, and clarify them; sort out your mental space so that your thoughts are more often positive and inspiring, then negative or dreadful. Never bad advice, in my opinion.

While I've never claimed to be a psychic, tools like numerology, astrology, and the tarot are great ways to plan ahead, or estimate how things will turn out. I do believe in free will though, so as always, take ownership over the way your life turns out, and the choices you make. 2022 is looking like it could be an absolutely incredible year, but only if you choose for it to be.
